Autumn and winter lighting
Four lighting jobs to sort before the dark nights
Early starts and late finishes mean plenty of work in the dark, so drilling, muck spreading, hedge cutting and feeding all run into darkness. These four categories cover the lights that fail or fall short first.
-
LED work lights for the yard and field
LED work lights deliver 1,500 to 6,000 lumens per lamp in flood, spot or combination beams, and draw a fraction of the current of the 55W halogen lamps they replace. Fit floods for close work around the loader and implements, spots for distance.
-
Amber beacons for road work
An amber beacon helps other road users spot slow-moving farm machinery, and New Zealand rules require one on many agricultural vehicles on the road. LED beacons fit the same pole, DIN or 3-bolt mounts as rotating halogen units.
-
LED light bars for wide implements
A light bar spreads light across the full width of a drill, cultivator or hedge cutter in one fitting. Bars from 10 to 50 inches suit roof rails, cab brackets and implement frames, on 12V and 24V.
-
Bulbs and spares for the cab
Halogen headlight, work lamp and indicator bulbs fail most often in the first cold weeks. Standard and long-life halogen, xenon and miniature bulbs are stocked singly and in assortment boxes for the workshop.

LED tractor lights and agricultural lighting from Agri Lighting
Agri Lighting is an independent agricultural lighting specialist based in Lincolnshire. The brand launched in 2025, and the parts business behind it has supplied farms since 1996. The range covers tractor lighting, trailer and implement lighting, universal work lamps, amber beacons and bulbs from manufacturers such as Hella, alongside own-brand LED lighting.
What a tractor light needs to match
A tractor light is a 12V or 24V lamp classified by position on the machine (headlight, work light, tail light, indicator, number plate light, cab light or beacon) and by approval for road or off-road use. Five details decide fitment: voltage, connector type, beam pattern, mounting and dimensions, and every Agri Lighting product page lists all five.
LED against halogen
An LED work light produces 3 to 5 times the light output of a 55W halogen lamp for around one third of the current draw, runs cooler, and has a rated life of 30,000 to 50,000 hours against 500 to 1,000 hours for halogen. Halogen lamps remain the lower-cost choice for original-fit headlights on older tractors, which is why Agri Lighting stocks both.
Road-legal and off-road lighting
Headlights, tail lights, indicators, number plate lights and amber beacons carry an E-mark or ECE approval number, a recognised standard for road lighting. Work lights and light bars are off-road lighting and are switched off on the public road. Product pages state the approval where one applies.

Tractor lighting questions
Delivery, returns, VAT, fitment and road legality.
Does Agri Lighting offer free delivery?
Agri Lighting offers free delivery to addresses in New Zealand on orders of NZ$500 or more. Below that, delivery is charged by parcel size and shown at checkout. Orders are sent by tracked courier with delivery updates.
How long does delivery take for Agri Lighting orders?
In-stock orders placed before 3pm on a working day are dispatched the same day, and courier delivery to New Zealand usually takes 5 to 10 working days after dispatch. Items we order in from a supplier usually reach us the next working day and are dispatched the day they arrive; the product page says which applies.
Are there customs charges on deliveries to New Zealand?
Orders ship from the UK on a DAP basis, so any New Zealand GST, duty or Customs fees are paid on delivery where they apply, and the courier contacts you first if charges are due. No UK VAT is added to your order.
What is the Agri Lighting returns policy?
Agri Lighting accepts returns within 30 days of delivery. Contact the team with the order number first and a returns reference and instructions are sent by email.
Do prices include GST?
No UK VAT or New Zealand GST is added at checkout, so the price you see is the price you pay us. Any GST, duty or Customs fees due on import are collected on delivery.
How do I choose the right tractor light?
Match five details to the tractor: system voltage (12V or 24V), connector or plug type, beam pattern (flood, spot or combination), mounting bracket, and lamp dimensions. Each Agri Lighting product page lists all five.
Are Agri Lighting tractor lights road legal?
Road lighting such as headlights, tail lights, indicators and amber beacons is sold with the E-mark or ECE approval listed on the product page. Work lights and light bars are for off-road use and are switched off on the public road.
Are Agri Lighting LED lights waterproof?
Each product page lists the IP rating. IP67 lamps withstand temporary immersion, IP68 lamps withstand continuous immersion, and IP69K lamps withstand high-pressure hot washing.
Do Agri Lighting lights work on 12V and 24V tractors?
Most Agri Lighting LED work lights, beacons and light bars operate on both 12V and 24V systems. Bulbs and some halogen lamps are voltage specific, and the product page states the supported voltage.
